Glacier Park Lodge and Upper Medicine Lake

This lodge was built in 1912-1913. The lobby of the lodge is supported by Douglas Fir timbers that were 5-800 years old when cut and 36-42" in diameter. Even though it's a large room with 40' tall timbers it still has a warm, cozy feel.

Waterton - Glacier International Peace Park.
In 1932 Waterton Lakes National Park (Alberta, Canada) was combined with the Glacier National Park (Montana, United States) to form the world's first International Peace Park.
